Who is it suitable for?

Wonderful World 1 is an interactive online English programme for children that lays a solid foundation for learning the language. Through engaging topics, games, exercises, songs, short videos and visual materials, children learn new words and phrases in a natural, fun and memorable way.

The programme develops the core language skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing – and encourages children to use English actively from the very first lessons. What will the children learn?

During the course, children will learn basic words and phrases on topics close to them, such as:

  • greetings, introductions and basic personal information;
  • colours, numbers, shapes and classroom objects;
  • family, friends and everyday activities;
  • toys, animals and pets;
  • food and drinks;
  • clothes, parts of the body and emotions;
  • home, rooms and the objects around them;

During the course, children will start using basic language structures suited to a beginner level:
